Together, Stronger with Shifra Homes

“Shifra Homes is extremely grateful to Burlington Foundation for providing us with the Pandemic Relief Fund during an extremely challenging time for non-profits and front-line social service organizations. This grant kept our doors open to new admissions and vulnerable at-risk youth that were homeless and pregnant. Thanks to this grant we had 3 healthy beautiful babies born during the pandemic and we admitted two young women into our program. These babies are growing up without knowing hunger or homelessness and their mothers are moving forward to finish their education while becoming amazing parents. We’ve also been able to continue and increase our mental health services for current and previous residents as they navigate through these unprecedented times. It is with a humble heart that we thank Burlington Foundation for supporting our work in the community.”
