“The funding from Burlington Community Foundation allowed us to provide vital one-on-one academic tutoring support, once a week for up to eight weeks for students with learning disabilities (LDs). Despite being bright, many students with LDs struggle to read, write, or process auditory or visual information, all of which are required for successful online learning. This one-on-one tutoring support helped us level the academic playing field for these students and provide critical academic and emotional support at a vital time during the pandemic.”
