“Congratulations on your 20th anniversary. Burlington is a wonderful city, and I’m glad to be part of making it even better by volunteering with the foundation. Burlington has many charitable organizations, but they’re often struggling, mostly due to a lack of funds. I’m glad the foundation, through your donors, are able to support many of our charities. I don’t have money to donate myself, but I’m fortunate enough to be able to give time. With the Foundation, rather than working with just one group, I can help many places help solve many issues. Volunteering makes me feel like I’m part of something important for Burlington. I feel good when I help people, and at the Foundation I can help many people.”
