Together, Stronger with Easter Seals Ontario

“On behalf of Easter Seals Ontario, I would like to sincerely thank the Burlington Foundation for your generous donation. We are deeply grateful for every contribution; however, your support is particularly meaningful and appreciated this year.

The cancellation of the majority of Easter Seals’ fundraising events due to COVID-19 has drastically reduced our revenue, and as a result, we have had to put hundreds of children with physical disabilities on a wait list for vital mobility and accessibility equipment.

During the pandemic, Easter Seals children and families have also been facing incredible challenges. Children with physical disabilities are extremely vulnerable to contracting the virus due to their compromised immune systems. Consequently, they are isolated at home, making having the necessary mobility and accessibility equipment even more critical.

With this contribution, the Burlington Foundation is helping to alleviate some of the burden for these families and enabling children to get equipment that will allow them to live with greater safety and dignity, and ultimately, a better quality of life.”
