“ As Carpenter Hospice is the only palliative care and hospice based organization dedicated to the residents of Burlington, we knew the community would be greatly impacted when we had to suspend our service at the start of the pandemic. Our free and compassionate care services are critical to many of our vulnerable seniors, bereaved loved ones and palliative patients. Through Burlington Foundation’s Pandemic Response funding, Carpenter Hospice was given the boost we needed to help our Outreach program develop new ways to stay connected with our program participants. This support allowed us to focus providing exceptional, thoughtful Wellness supports and for that we are very grateful!“
