Meal Cards for Youth

Halton Food for Thought currently receives approximately half of their funding from the Ministry of Community and Social Services, which supports universal programs, not including high schools with for-profit cafeterias. Burlington high schools have identified a number of students who regularly go without meals. This program enables youth to receive meal card vouchers so that they can access food at school.
