Smith Family Fund 

Why this Fund was created 

Donald Smith recognizes that he has a corporate and personal social responsibility to the people of Burlington and all humankind. Corporate and personal giving is an “investment” in our community and the world, not just charity. 

He professes to believe in and practice social responsibility, to help represent, support and sustain the concept of sharing through contribution of time, talent and treasure. 

What this Fund is for  

The purpose of the fund is to support some or all eleven general areas including arts and culture, international, civics, political, education, religious, environment/ nature, sports/ recreation, health, youth/aging and human services. 

Who Benefits from this Fund? 

Charitable organization serving in arts and culture, international, civics, political, education, religious, environment/ nature, sports/ recreation, health, youth/aging and human services areas.
