Why this Fund was created

Jayne’s Impact Fund was designed as a (short) Term Fund to support more immediate grants to charitable organizations in the community. This means the funds are not held in perpetuity. The Fund also supports the long-term goals of The Love, Jayne Foundation, which includes a permanently endowed Donor Advised Fund.

Both Funds are a tribute to the remarkable spirit of Jayne Hounslow, a young girl whose heart overflowed with kindness and generosity.

Jayne had a unique way of making everyone feel special. Whether it was through her handmade gifts or motivational words, she always wanted to give to others. Her love knew no bounds as she believed that even a small act of kindness could make a big difference in someone’s life.

What this Fund is for 

This Fund was established to support the more immediate needs of children in financial need, be enabling kids the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities to set them up for a successful life.

Who Benefits from this Fund?

Underserved children across the Halton Region, by empowering them to pursue their passions and helping them to reach their potential regardless of their financial circumstances.
