Burlington, ON, February 7, 2022 – Burlington Foundation is thrilled to announce that CLV Group Inc. and InterRent REIT have established a new philanthropic fund with an opening gift of $175,000.

For over 50 years, CLV Group and InterRent REIT have been helping both renters and homeowners find the perfect place to call home. With offerings in 18 communities across Canada, including several apartment buildings here in Burlington, the two companies are industry leaders in providing complete real estate solutions including residential rentals, real estate brokerage, property management, financial services and construction and development.

“A guiding principle we are most passionate about at CLV Group and InterRent REIT, is our responsibility and commitment to community – our building residents, our team members and the larger community within the cities we are proud to call home. It’s especially important to help those most vulnerable community members who really need a helping hand in a time of need. For many years, we have proudly supported several local and national charities across Canada including The Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, the Snowsuit Fund, the Youth Services Bureau, and multiple local food banks” says Mike McGahan, President of CLV Group Inc and CEO of InterRent REIT.

“Through our partnership with Burlington Foundation we know that our financial gifts are in excellent stewardship hands, and the donations that we provide to local charities will have the greatest impact on the lives of so many,” says Mike McGahan.

Since its inception in 1999, Burlington Foundation fundholders have been having an important, sustainable impact on our community.

“Through the establishment of this new philanthropic fund, CLV Group and InterRent REIT are further illustrating their commitment to supporting the communities in which they operate,” says Colleen Mulholland, President and CEO, Burlington Foundation.

“We look forward to partnering with Mike and his team helping to unite their passions with local needs, so together we can continue to make the future brighter for generations to come,” says Colleen Mulholland.
